Quan Nghe Joins CHI as Managing Director of Finance and Administration

DENVER — Quan Nghe has joined the Colorado Health Institute (CHI) as Managing Director of Finance and Administration. In his new role, Nghe will lead a team responsible for CHI’s financial and operational functions with an aim toward building systems to support CHI’s growth as it advances its mission of improving the health of all Coloradans through independent research, analysis, and insight.

Nghe brings extensive financial experience to to CHI and has held leadership roles at several publicly held consumer-facing companies. Nghe was the Divisional CFO for Crocs Inc., a Colorado-based casual footwear company. Prior to that, he spent 16 years in various finance leadership roles at Yum! Brands, Inc., a global restaurant company. He also held positions with McKinsey & Co.

“Quan brings the skills and expertise to help lead CHI through a period of significant change and opportunity,” said Michele Lueck, President and CEO of CHI. “He also brings a passion for improving health in our communities, and we are excited to have him join our growing team as we work with partners across the state to improve health for Coloradans.”

Nghe was born in Vietnam and grew up in New Jersey. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rutgers College and an MBA from The Wharton School.

“I came to the Colorado Health Institute because I wanted a chance to apply my skills for the greater good of the community,” Nghe said. “Good health is the foundation of a good life, and I’m excited to help build an organization that works to improve health for everyone.”

Nghe lives in Englewood with his wife, Ginley. They have three children and a dog adopted while the family was living in Shanghai, China. He loves to ride his Ducati motorcycles and ski in the Colorado mountains. Nghe volunteers at the Samaritan House and The Right Step, an equine therapy organization for people with disabilities.
