The Colorado Health Institute has published an interactive graphic that details what parts of state government are most vulnerable to cuts in federal funding.
The graphic traces federal funds down to 85 separate divisions of the Long Bill — Colorado's annual budget bill. The state is set to receive nearly $14 billion in federal funds in the 2025-26 budget year. Most of it is for health and social programs.
The graphic could be useful in localizing coverage of the current budget debate in Congress.
