This report is a summary of the annual estimates on the number and percentage of Coloradans who lacked health insurance in 2010, based on the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (ACS). Nationally, an estimated 47.2 million Americans, or 15.5% of the population, were uninsured in 2010. In Colorado, 789,000 Coloradans, or 15.9% were uninsured. This report also breaks uninsurance down by county, and compares data from 2009 and 2010.
