Thank you for your interest in a Hot Issues in Health scholarship. To be considered for a scholarship, please read the information below, complete the application, and email it to Mia Bulifa at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are once again offering a limited number of scholarships for early-career professionals and those who work in rural, community-based, and/or minority-led nonprofit organizations. We encourage those who are focused on health equity or using an equity lens in their work to apply.
Preference will be given to those who meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Are members of rural-based, minority-led, and/or community-based organizations;
- Are early-stage professionals or students;
- Are working to bring health in reach for Coloradans who have traditionally struggled to access it; and/or
- Have a learning intent that aligns with the educational goals and nonpartisan spirit of the conference.
Each scholarship will cover the registration fee as well as conference meals on both days. Select recipients from outside the Denver metro area may be approved for on-site hotel accommodations.
Scholarship applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning Monday, October 21, 2019.
Scholarship recipients agree to share a written reflection, create a video about their Hot Issues in Health experience or a conference topic, and/or provide two photos from the event for the Colorado Health Institute to share on its newsletter and/or social media feeds.
More details will be provided closer to the conference date. Please email Mia Bulifa at email@example.com with any questions.
