2012 Legislative Roundtable: Addressing the Boomer Challenge

This presentation by CHI, and accompanying materials, focuses on long term services and supports for elders in the Medicaid program and initiatives in Colorado to address this growing—and expensive—population.
Date last upated: March 15, 2012

The Colorado Health Institute provided four health policy roundtables for Colorado legislators in February and March 2012.

This presentation by CHI focuses on long term services and supports for elders in the Medicaid program and initiatives in Colorado to address this growing—and expensive—population.

Colorado spends $1.16 billion on long term services and supports for its elders and people with disabilities. As the state’s baby boomers age, the amount will increase significantly.
