The Rural Track is designed to identify students interested in rural practice and to facilitate their admission to the School of Medicine. After admission, it provides them with, mentorship, additional knowledge, broad skills and rural socialization experiences to support their learning about and interest in rural medicine. This is a longitudinal curriulum throughout the 4 years of medical school and is in addition to the regular curriculum.
