Senior Research Analyst

Lisa joined CHI as a senior research analyst in March 2008 with a focus on health economics and coverage issues. Initially her work will focus on developing a supply-demand model to be used for estimating physician and nurse workforce demand in Colorado and also assisting the policy and research team in examining health coverage issues related to Colorado’s children.

Prior to accepting her current position, Lisa was the statistical analyst for the Child Health Plan Plus division at the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing. She also has served as an economist in the Governor’s Office of State Planning and Budgeting (OSPB) where she provided national and state economic analyses to the OSPB director and members of the governor’s staff.

A Colorado native, Lisa earned her master’s degree in economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her BS degree in economics from the Pennsylvania State University. She currently serves as both the treasurer and active member of the Denver Association of Business Economists and is on the University of Colorado Business and Economic Outlook Forum Steering Committee.
