Anna Furniss joined CHI in March 2008 as a SAS programmer/analyst. In that position, she assists in the development, maintenance and integration of data from various sources into clean, reliable data files that can be used by CHI and the Colorado health care community for addressing important questions regarding health policy and practice. Additionally, Anna provides statistical analysis support to research projects.
Through her work as a biostatistician/data manager with Denver Nephrology, Arbor Research Collaborative for Health and the University of Michigan, Anna gained more than five years of experience in health care research, working primarily on observational and population-based studies. She earned a bachelor of science in statistics and a master of science in industrial and applied mathematics from Utah State University.
