As director of health information for the Colorado Health Institute, Michael Boyson is chiefly responsible for the design, development, and administration of the institute’s health information clearinghouse and related in-house databases. Previously, Michael served for 19 years as director of data services and research for the Colorado Health and Hospital Association (CHA), where he was responsible for developing and maintaining hospital information databases for member hospitals and the public.
Prior to joining CHA, Michael served as assistant administrator for Porter Memorial Hospital in Denver and as office manager for the Flatirons Medical Clinic in Boulder and for Breckenridge Medical Center. He also has served on several state and national advisory boards and committees.
He holds a master’s in health administration from Loma Linda University and an undergraduate degree in business administration from Walla Walla College.
