To promote the oral health workforce to serve underserved populations including Medicaid, CHP+, Uninsured, and Old Age Pension recipients by providing loan repayment opportunity for those that do.

Major accomplishments:

$268,250 was distributed for Dental Loan Repayment in FY2009. This was given to 15 dentists and 2 dental hygienists. These providers, along with other loan repayment recipients in their second contract year provided care to 39,850 underserved patients including Medicaid, CHP+, Uninsured, and Old Age Pension recipients.
