Expose 8th grade students to the full breadth of career opportunities available and allow them access to professionals in these areas who can answer their questions. Support the academic development of these students toward this goal by providing access to higher education professionals for general education and career specific questions.

Over a five year period this program has grown from 900 students to 5100. Prior to attending, each student takes a self-assessment to see careers they should investigate. At the event, they are able to explore as many others as they like. Students from this program now have the chance to explore a single career of choice more deeply through the Experience 9 to 5 high school career exploration program.
We always search to find additional careers to represent at this event. Finding professionals able to spend the day with our students is an annual ask.
