image This study finds the uninsured will spend $30 billion out-of-pocket for health care in 2008 while receiving $56 billion in uncompensated care, three quarters of which will be from government sources.

In 2008, approximately 871,000 Coloradans with health insurance are expected to spend over 10 percent of their income on health care, an increase of 383,000 Coloradans compared to 2000.
