CHI Publication Colorado Adults’ Health Insurance Status: 2011 update

In Colorado, low-income adults without dependent children have higher uninsured rates than other groups. These documents provide an overview of this population, including how many will become eligible for Medicaid under state and federal health care reform.

CHI Publication Colorado Children’s Health Insurance Status: 2011 update

Although health insurance has been associated with improved access to health care and better health outcomes, there are a number of children who are eligible for public insurance programs but remain uninsured.

The Colorado Health Institute (CHI) publishes annual estimates of Colorado children eligible but not enrolled (EBNE) in Medicaid and the Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) program by county to help state and local policymakers understand enrollment patterns in their communities.

The fact sheet provides an overview of EBNE children in Colorado, and the data supplement provides estimates by county.
