Colorado S.B. 173 Long-term care advisory committee
In 2005, the Colorado General Assembly passed SB05-173 which created a new Long-Term Care Advisory Committee "to assist in the creation of a community long-term care delivery system that will provide an opportunity for excellence in management and that fosters a continuum of community long-term care services and service delivery." The 22-member committee included a wide variety of stakeholders involved in long-term care policy and service delivery. The Advisory Committee made its
recommendations (470 KB pdf) to the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing on July 1, 2006.
The Colorado Health Institute served as the external convener and analytic arm of this committee. All agendas, minutes and handouts are posted to this Web site. The
