2005 Colorado Physician Workforce Survey

In May 2005, physicians whose Colorado licenses were up for renewal received a workforce survey form with their licensing renewal materials. A total of 16,138 individuals renewed their license to practice medicine in Colorado, with about 20 percent of them having a contact address outside of the state. The Colorado Health Institute (CHI) received survey responses from 48 percent of those of who renewed their license – 7,715 physicians.
