This workgroup will examine best practices for quality assurance in Alzheimer’s disease treatment and care. The group will develop recommendations for ensuring quality in Colorado, as well as determine quality measurements. As a part of quality, the group will examine education and training for people who are likely to come into contact with persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. Further, research and data collection concerning Alzheimer’s disease will be addressed by the group. The recommendation subject areas from other state plans included in this workgroup are Quality, Research and data collection and Education/Training.
