This workgroup will develop recommendations to address the large number of unpaid caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. Recommendations may range from support services to tax incentives to respite care. The group may also look at Alzheimer’s disease infrastructure in the state, such as transportation issues and single point of entry for individuals and families, and the role that state government can play. The recommendation subject areas from other state plans included in this workgroup are Unpaid caregiver support, Infrastructure/Services and State administrative and legislative roles.
