Rebecca Crepin joined CHI as an intern in January 2006 and has risen to the position of senior data analyst. She was a data entry technician for two years while finishing undergraduate coursework before joining CHI full time in May 2008 as a research assistant. In early 2010, Rebecca became a research associate, responsible for workforce survey administration, overseeing data entry, data cleaning and overall data management of CHI’s health professions workforce surveys. She was also in charge of maintaining and updating all indicators posted on the CHI website.

In August 2010, Rebecca became a SAS programmer/analyst, responsible for data management and analysis of CHI workforce surveys. Rebecca is now a senior data analyst with a wide range of responsibilities. Her work includes combining and cleaning data files to answer statistical and analytical questions internally and for external information requests. She is also responsible for standardizing data for CHI survey files, survey results and input data used for maps. In addition, she has taken on the information technology (IT) responsibilities at CHI.

Rebecca is an alumna of Regis University where she graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science in mathematics. She is enrolled in the master of science in applied mathematics program with specialization in applied statistics at the University of Colorado at Denver.

Rebecca is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. Since moving to Colorado to further her education, she has fallen in love with everything Colorado has to offer and has made it her permanent residence. Her interests include It Burns Joe Fitness bootcamp, working out, snowboarding, hiking, camping and backpacking.
